Gone are the days of fitting women into boxes. Modern women have classic style, smart women make time for play, and passionate women find power in compassion.
At Hannah Childs our mission is simple: Inspire ambitious women to live in purpose through thoughtful design and responsible business.
I started Hannah Childs Lifestyle for women who share my passion for getting everything we want out of life – without fussing over the little things. When I was five I rode my first horse; at 16 I decided I wanted to be a fashion designer. In my college admissions essay I solidified my goal: “My dream is to have an equestrian lifestyle line that makes all women feel beautiful and brings back manufacturing to the USA.” Fast forward thousands of hours at the stables and drafting table and here we are.
Each Hannah Childs piece is designed with versatility at its core. The result is a collection of low-maintenance, street-to-sport styles that are equally at home in the field, on the green or the corner office. We’re committed to sourcing the highest quality materials with stealth performance benefits (#yeswomensweat) and 100% of our styles are proudly made in the USA. Designed by women like you, for women like you.
Hannah Rose Childs is a designer, writer, artist and entrepreneur. She shines in the experience of adventure, expansion, and authentic connection with other women. She began riding when she was just 5 years old, after she told her kindergarten teacher that she rode horses for fun. (She had only ever ridden one at the fair!). She got her first horse and best friend, Harry Potter, when she was 12, and took him through the levels to ultimately event him at intermediate. Harry is now 26 years old, and he and Hannah spend their days trail riding in the hills of Santa Barbara, and eating as many snacks as possible.
An entrepreneur from childhood, she had several businesses growing up, from gemstone jewelry to a gluten free baking business. Ultimately, her true passion shined through at 16 when she saw Project Runway for the first time, and realized her dream was to have an equestrian clothing brand that made women feel beautiful and was made in the USA. Hannah attended the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles, and has designed for global brands such as UGG and HOKA One.
She launched her first equestrian brand, Style Stock in 2014, which offered designer stock ties and belts and ultimately transitioned to HCL to step into her soul's true purpose.
Hannah is a published author, and offers a fresh perspective on business, the art of living, and our responsibility and opportunity as individuals and a collective. She is devoted to living a life from the inside out, and to the journey of helping and inspiring others to the awakening and remembering of their own truth and life purpose.
